About

About Dear Daughter,

Dear Daughter began as a love letter...

A love letter to girlhood.
To softness.
To the quiet magic of childhood that passes far too quickly.

It is a love letter to my daughter — and also to my own childhood past. To the dresses I once wore, the memories stitched into fabric, the feeling of being little and safe and held in a world that felt full of possibility.

After becoming a mother, I found myself noticing the small details — the way fabric moves when she runs, the way sunlight catches the hem of a dress, the way certain pieces make a moment feel preserved forever. I wanted clothing that felt gentle, timeless, and full of meaning — not rushed, not overdone, not disposable.

Before Dear Daughter, I previously owned an online children’s boutique. That chapter taught me so much — about quality, about what parents truly value, and about how meaningful children’s clothing can become. Dear Daughter is a natural evolution of that experience, shaped by both motherhood and a deeper sense of intention.

We thoughtfully curate and carefully select pieces that celebrate childhood as it is — playful, tender, imperfect, and real. Dresses that feel beautiful yet wearable. Pieces that feel special, yet natural enough for everyday magic.

But Dear Daughter is about more than clothing. With every purchase, we give back — supporting causes that nurture and protect children, because childhood should be safe, supported, and full of possibility.

This brand is deeply personal. It is rooted in memory — both hers and mine — and in the desire to hold onto fleeting seasons just a little longer.

Dear Daughter is not about trends.
It is about intention.
It is about softness.
It is about preserving the feeling of being little.

Thank you for being here, and for supporting a small independent business built with care.

With love,
